About Squint

Our mission is to accelerate human potential.

Squint is the Industrial AI company that turns operating knowledge into action. Our technology serves Fortune 500 leaders across manufacturing, field services, and utilities. Companies such as PepsiCo, Continental Tire, and Tenneco use Squint to capture and activate their essential tribal knowledge, standards docs, and OT data into procedures, orchestrated work, and context for AI agents to act on.

Some things to know about us:

About the Role

Anyone can stand up a pilot. Getting Squint running in a live plant — used every shift, trusted by the floor, showing up in the numbers — is the hard part. That's the job.

We're hiring a Deployment Partner to get Squint live where our customers actually work: the factory floors, job sites, and utility yards. You're the person embedded on the ground who turns a plan into a working, adopted system.

This is not a configuration job, and it's not consulting. You’ll own the deployment and adoption of Squint’s industrial AI inside the doors of F500 industrial customers who make the world go round.

Our customers' environments are messy and industrial: legacy systems, spotty connectivity, workers in the field wearing AR headsets instead of sitting at a desk. That's the point. The mess is where the value is, and you're the one who's comfortable standing in it.

You'll join our Strategy team — alongside our deployment partners and strategists, reporting to our Head of Strategy — and spend your time shoulder-to-shoulder with customers, defining how Squint scales its most complex deployments.

What You'll Do

You're the person accountable for getting Squint live at a customer site and proving out its value — whatever it takes. You will:

  • Drive true AI adoption in the industrial world. From kickoff to go-live, you’ll lead the AI roadmap for our F500 industrial customers and be accountable for getting Squint working and delivering real value at a customer site.

  • Build in the product — no code required. You'll pull use cases from operators, build and structure procedures, stand up the customer's knowledge graph, and shape Squint’s AI to each site's equipment, systems, and language.

  • Go where the work is. You'll spend real time on floors and in the field, watching how frontline teams actually operate, so what you build is something they'll actually use, close the gap between "deployed" and "depended on," and cut time-to-value at every site.

  • Earn trust at every level. Frontline operator to plant manager to exec sponsor — you're the person customers count on to make Squint work.

  • Make the product sharper. Every deployment teaches us something. You're the fastest path from what you learn in the field to what we build next.

About You

  • You make good calls with incomplete information, and you'd rather decide and adjust than wait for a playbook.

  • You care about outcomes.

  • You want both: time on-site in a plant learning how it really works, and time at a desk turning that into something that scales.

  • You can talk as easily with a maintenance tech on the floor as with a VP of Operations — and both walk away trusting you.

  • You've built, led, or shipped something real — a business, a club, a team, a project, an internship where you owned an outcome and finished it.

  • Travel and time on-site energize you rather than drain you. Expect meaningful travel in this role, you'll be traveling about 75% of the time.

What You'll Bring

  • A recent degree or early-career experience (0–2 years) — your major matters far less than your judgment and drive.

  • Evidence you can take ownership of something ambiguous and see it through, without a lot of process or hand-holding.

  • Sharp communication and people instincts: you build trust fast with very different kinds of people.

  • A bias toward action over process — and toward finishing.

  • Genuine interest in industrial operations and the physical economy — manufacturing, field services, or utilities exposure is a bonus, never a requirement.

  • No engineering or coding background required. Curiosity about how software and AI create value on the ground is what matters.
