Job description

At Lumino The Dentists, we believe great dentistry starts with feeling supported, valued, and balanced. As New Zealand’s largest dental network and part of Abano Healthcare, we give clinicians the freedom to practise their way, backed by a genuinely caring team and strong professional support.

Dentist | Full Books | Hamilton

We’re seeking a Dentist to join our well‑established Lumino Chartwell practice, located in the heart of Chartwell, Hamilton. Our experienced and friendly team has been caring for the local community for many years, supported by a loyal patient base and established books.

This role is available for 2 to 5 days per week and is well suited to a dentist seeking stability, predictable workload, and strong earning potential, without the pressure of building a patient base from scratch.

You’ll enjoy genuine clinical autonomy and the ability to shape your scope of practice, supported by modern equipment, digital systems, and Lumino’s wider clinical network. With administration and operational support managed centrally, you can focus your time on delivering high‑quality patient care.

What’s in it for you

A stable, well-supported role with immediate earning potential.

• Full books in a long‑established practice, with a loyal and returning patient base
• 2 to 5 days per week available, offering certainty and predictable workload
• Competitive remuneration with a stepped commission structure
• Full clinical autonomy, supported by Lumino’s national clinical network
• Modern technology and digital workflows to support efficient, high‑quality care
• Comprehensive administrative support, so you can focus on dentistry, not paperwork
• Relocation and visa support available for eligible candidates

About the location

Chartwell is a popular and convenient area of Hamilton, close to shopping, cafes, and public transport. Hamilton offers affordable living, short commute times, and easy access to outdoor activities across the Waikato, making it an appealing option for both local dentists and those considering relocation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused dental care
• Working collaboratively within an experienced, supportive team
• Enjoying clinical autonomy while being backed by a strong national network
• Building long‑term relationships with patients in the local community

• Registered or eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand
• A current Annual Practising Certificate or ability to obtain one
• Confidence across general dentistry, or a desire to broaden your scope
• A patient‑centred approach with a focus on long‑term oral health
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Whether you’re already based in the Waikato or considering a move to Hamilton, we’d love to explore how Lumino can support your next career step.
