Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Part-Time (Thursdays Only)

Location:

• Primary: Mynt Dental — Bolingbrook, IL
• Bonus Opportunity: Additional days available at our Franklin Park, IL location
• Part-time | Thursdays only in Bolingbrook.
• Flexibility: Want more hours? We can schedule you on other days at our Franklin Park office.

Role and Schedule:

• Deliver preventive and periodontal care within your licensed scope
• Co-diagnose with the doctor during hygiene exams — your clinical judgment carries weight here
• Complete periodontal charting, radiographs, and intraoral scans
• Educate patients on their treatment and home care
• Maintain your clinical notes and treatment records
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols

Hours: Clinic hours are 9am-6pm during the week, and 9am-3pm on Saturdays.

Appointment lengths:

• New Patient or Recall: 60 minutes
• Default SRP: 60 minutes per 2 quadrant

Patients per day: 7-8 patients

We schedule for thorough care, not volume. You will have time to chart properly, educate your patient, and reset your room without running behind.

You'll work with:

• Dentrix Ascend
• AI assisted Xrays
• iTero Lumina scanners 
• Digital radiography 
• intraoral cameras in every room
• Soft Tissue Lasers, with certification training available if you don't have it yet

What we're looking for:

• Active Illinois RDH license in good standing
• Ability to administer local anesthesia
• New graduates are welcome. We'll pair you with an experienced hygienist at the beginning to build your speed and confidence — we won't throw you into a full column on day one

Hiring process:
You'll know where you stand at every step:

1. A 5 min phone call with our team to schedule an introduction phone call with the owner.
2. A 15 minute call with owner to talk through the role and answer your questions
3. An in-person meeting with the owner to see the office and talk about clinical philosophy and how our hygiene department runs
4. An offer, typically within 5-7 business days
