Job description

Portobello Dental Clinic is a multi-award winning practice including winning the Irish Dentistry Practice of the year – twice. We also celebrated 20 years in Practice in 2024.

The practice offers an extensive range of dental treatments including cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics, paediatrics, endodontics and we specialise in the treatment of very nervous patients and use IV and Nitrous Oxide sedation.

We are proud to have a collaborative and friendly work environment, where our full team of 26 people are dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic in their roles; offering the best service and dentistry care in the industry.

We are looking for an experienced part-time Dental Hygienist to join our warm and supportive team here at Portobello Dental Clinic. You would work alongside four hygienists and a multi-disciplinary team for 1 sessions per week, to cover a colleague going on Mat Leave. Full book, EMS Airflow, Cavitron and intra-oral camera. Exact dental software experience a distinct advantage but training will be provided. IDC registration essential. 

We can offer

  • Start Date: Available Immediately
  • Surgery space available: 2 x days a week Tuesdays and Thursdays 14:00 - 20:00 and 1 x Saturday per month 08:30 - 13:30 on a permanent basis, a fixed term maternity cover day on a Wednesday until 2027. 
  • The practice is fully private with 5 surgeries 
  • We have a highly experienced team with specialisms including: Endodontics, Paediatrics, Oral Surgery , Periodontics and more
  • On street parking available, located outside of the practice
  • Practice is located centrally with easy access to local transport and bus routes
