For over three decades, the Highland Dental Centre team has proudly served Pictou County, New Glasgow, and the surrounding areas with dental care services for the whole family.  Our practice is conviently located in the Highland Square Mall and provides a full spectrum of services including general dentistry services, implant restoration, orthodontics and Invisalign, cosmetic services, and much more! 

Led by Dr. Luke Austin, we are committed to staying at the forefront of pateint care by offering cutting edge of dental technology to provide the best quality care to our patients in the most effective way.

Schedule:   

  •  Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday
  • 4 days per week
  • 5 days per week available if perferred
  • 8:00 - 4:00 PM

Your Role: 

  • Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care  
  • Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients  
  • Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling  
  • Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour 

   

About You:  

  • Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required 
  • Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required 
  • Valid CPR certification is required
