Dental Assistant| Lumino Wanaka | Full-Time

Lumino Dental in Wānaka, New Zealand is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team ! 

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

• Assist dentists during dental procedures by preparing operatories, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software
• Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Greet and assist patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit
• Provide instructions to patients regarding pre- and post-operative care
• Restock and maintain dental supplies and inventory
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling billing as needed

Hours for this role : 

• Monday 8:15am - 5:15pm 
• Tuesday  8:15am - 5:15pm 
• Wednesday  8:15am - 5:15pm 
• Thursday  8:15am - 5:15pm 
• Friday  8:15am - 4:00pm 

• Dental assistant expeience preferred however not essential 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and dental staff
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures precisely
• Proficiency in dental practice management software (if applicable)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service
