Lumino Pitt Street is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking flexibility while being part of a friendly and professional practice in the heart of the city.

As a l Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive an outstanding experience at every visit.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
• Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
• Supporting infection prevention and control protocols
• Providing excellent patient care and reassurance
• Managing stock and ensuring clinical areas are well supplied
• Completing general administrative and clinical support tasks as required

This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Hours for this role:

• Saturdays: 8.30am to 5.30pm 

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred)
• A positive, professional, and patient-focused approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisation and time management abilities
• The ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
• Flexibility to work across varying shifts when required
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care
• Valid New Zealand work rights
