  • $24–$30 per hour, based on experience and certifications

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No evenings or weekends

What You'll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and clinical team throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
  • Provide chairside assistance during restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures
  • Take and process digital radiographs
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
  • Record clinical notes and update patient charts
  • Prepare dental materials, instruments, and equipment
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
  • Assist with impressions, temporaries, and laboratory cases as permitted by Pennsylvania regulations
  • Monitor inventory and maintain organized operatories
  • Help create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Pennsylvania Dental Radiology Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Previous dental assisting experience
  • Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
  • EFDA certification (welcome but not required)
  • Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental software
