Job Description

At Autodoc, the Demand Planning Manager plays a key role in shaping a smooth and efficient supply chain. This position is all about optimizing inventory, improving forecast accuracy, and ensuring the right products are available at the right time. As part of our dynamic supply chain team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by enhancing efficiency and driving continuous improvements in our demand planning processes. Responsibilities

  • Develop demand forecasts for multiple time horizons, collaborating with cross-functional teams and refining models to enhance accuracy.
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data modeling to extract insights and refine forecasts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional consensus activities, working closely with data center operations, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to understand demand drivers.
  • Develop and manage efficient tools, processes, and communication channels to drive effective demand forecast consensus.
  • Dive deep into forecasting models to identify risks and opportunities, negotiating with demand and supply owners to resolve constraints.
  • Define and own the Demand Forecasting Accuracy metric.
  • Continuously improve demand forecasting and planning processes, optimizing accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain management.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver cross-functional projects
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data modeling tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain/Operations or related field.
  • Experience with supply chain planning software and advanced analytics tools.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or e-commerce industry.
  • Multilingual proficiency for effective communication in a global context.
