Dedicated VIP Bartender / Barista - World Expo 2027, Belgrade (US National Only)

Job Purpose

The VIP & Protocol Bartender / Barista crafts and serves signature drinks, cocktails, and specialty coffee to the USA Pavilion's VIP guests and at protocol events. The role blends beverage craft with the presence and discretion required to serve dignitaries, and is a frontline showcase of American hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage craft and service

•     Prepare and serve cocktails, signature drinks and specialty coffee to a high, consistent standard in VIP settings.

•     Set up, present and run the VIP bar for receptions and events to an immaculate standard.

•     Tailor serves to guest preferences and dietary / no-alcohol requirements with discretion.

•     Manage responsible service of alcohol at all times.

Protocol and discretion

•     Follow event and protocol instructions precisely; present and conduct yourself to national-pavilion standards.

•     Maintain strict confidentiality around VIP guests and events.

Bar operations

•     Control bar stock, mise-en-place, cleanliness and hygiene; minimise waste.

•     Handle cash / POS accurately; support the main bar during peak trading as directed.

Expo, VIP & Protocol Responsibilities

•     Deliver warm, polished American hospitality to every guest, from the general public to accredited VIPs and official delegations, as a frontline representative of the USA Pavilion.

•     Follow VIP and protocol service instructions precisely during delegations, receptions and national-day events, including dress code, sequence of service and discretion around guests.

•     Maintain composure, pace and presentation through high-volume Expo trading and extended hours.

•     Never discuss or share information about VIP guests, their movements or pavilion events.

Requirements

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

•     Strong bartending / mixology and ideally barista skills.

•     Premium or VIP beverage-service experience.

•     Excellent presentation, poise and discretion.

•     Responsible-service knowledge.

•     Creativity and consistency under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

•     United States citizenship (mandatory for this role).

•     Bartending / barista training or equivalent experience.

•     Minimum 2-3 years in premium bar or VIP service.

•     Responsible-service and food-hygiene certification.
