Dealership Accounts Payable

Berman Auto Group is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to our Corporate Office! 

Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour - BOE
Job Type: Full-Time; Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (Flexible) 
Location: Oak Lawn, IL or Niles, IL | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Process, and reconcile high-volume automotive vendor invoices, factory statements, parts invoices, and sublet repair orders.
• Match and reconcile vehicle purchase invoices, flooring line transactions, and related inventory schedules.
• Prepare weekly check runs, electronic payments, and maintain organized records of all paid expenses.
• Review monthly vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing issues with department managers.
• Assist with schedule clean-up, accruals, and general accounting tasks to ensure timely month-end closing.
• Partner with Service, Parts, and Sales managers to verify purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Dealership Experience: 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience specifically within a dealership environment.
• Preferred experience working with Tekion DMS platform.
• Solid understanding of automotive accounting principles, schedules, and dealership operations.
• Exceptional data entry accuracy and strong organizational skills to handle a high-volume workload.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills for daily vendor and internal staff interactions.
