Databricks Expert

DXC Technology is looking for a Databricks Expert to autonomously manage the design, implementation and maintenance of data pipelines, acting as a direct point of reference for internal stakeholders on Databricks-based solutions.

Responsibilities 

• Autonomously manage the design and implementation of data pipelines using Databricks, from requirements to delivery.

• Work with multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data.

• Integrate Databricks with other tools and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Tableau, and various databases). 

• Manage data storage and lifecycle across Databricks workspaces. 

• Diagnose and resolve issues within Databricks environments and workflows. 

• Maintain direct relationship with internal stakeholders/teams for requirements gathering and solution validation. 

• Contribute to maintaining data engineering methodologies and standards within the team. 

• Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes, and workflows for internal use and compliance. 

Requirement 

• Professional experience using data analytics solutions based on Databricks. 

• Knowledge of at least one of the following data integration services: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google DataPrep. 

• Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, proficiency in programming (especially Python, Scala). 

• Good understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). 

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work with operational autonomy. 

Nice to Have 

• Databricks certification
