• Manage, monitor, and maintain diverse database landscape, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of database systems to support critical business applications and user needs.
• Implement and manage robust database security protocols, user access controls, and compliance measures to protect sensitive data.
• Develop, test, and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to safeguard organizational data against loss or corruption.
• Perform proactive database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues efficiently and prevent future occurrences.
• Plan and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
• Collaborate closely with application development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to support new projects, integrate solutions, and resolve database-related challenges.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical database support as required, ensuring 24/7 system reliability.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience with major relational database management systems, specifically MS-SQL, and SAP HANA.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions is also highly valued.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and database object management.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving database-related issues efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactively ensures meticulous data integrity and system reliability, and adeptly resolves complex database issues under pressure
• Highly adaptable to evolving technologies and business requirements, with an excellent problem-solving mindset focused on data integrity and system reliability.
