Über den Bereich

Das Team „Data Architecture Solutions“ gehört zur Sub-Domain Divisional Data Office (DDO). Die Sub-Domain berichtet wiederum an die Domain Data & Analytics innerhalb von TDI CIO Private Bank. Die Sub-Domain wird vom Chief Data Architect (CDA) geleitet. Der CDA hat den Auftrag, die Compliance der Ziel-Datenarchitektur, der divisionalen Datenmodelle, der Datenmanagementprozesse und der Datenqualität im Einklang mit strategischen Zielsetzungen zu definieren, umzusetzen und zu überwachen.

Als Data Specialist verantworten Sie innerhalb des Teams die Definition, Abstimmung und Dokumentation der Ziel-Datenarchitektur des Geschäftsbereichs Private Bank (PB). Oberstes Ziel ist die strategische Bereitstellung von Daten von höchster Qualität an Abnehmer innerhalb der Deutschen Bank. Im Einklang mit den Zielsetzungen der PB stellt der Data Specialist die Compliance mit den konzernweiten Architecture Principles and Standards sicher. 
 

Ihre Aufgaben

Als Mitglied des Data Architecture Solution Teams unterstützt der Data Specialist den PB CDA. Der Fokus liegt auf der angemessenen Bereitstellung von PB Daten in Übereinstimmung mit den konzernweiten Data Architecture Principles und Standards an Konsumenten innerhalb der Deutschen Bank, im Einzelnen:

• Sicherstellen, dass PB mit allen relevanten Standards der Datenarchitektur im Hinblick auf Datenbeschaffung, Dokumentation der Data Lineage, Datenqualitätsmessung und -mängelbeseitigung regelkonform ist

• Entwickeln von Datenarchitekturlösungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den PB Solution/ Enterprise Architekten, Data Ownern und Datenbereitstellungsteams

• Repräsentieren von PB in konzernweiten Feedbackprozessen bei der Weiterentwicklung der datenmanagementbezogenen Policies und -architektur. Erforderliche Genehmigungen von Konzerneinheiten einholen, z.B. für taktische Lösungen

• Zusammenarbeiten mit den Data Modelling und Data Landscape Teams, um das konzernweite Datenmodell aus der Perspektive von PB weiter zu entwickeln

• Optimieren von Prozessen, Methoden und vorhandenen Werkzeugen (z.B. Collibra), z.B. zu Zwecken der Datendefinition und Dokumentation von Data Lineage mit Hilfe von AI

• Unterstützen von PB’s Dateninitiativen, z.B. Umsetzungsprogrammen zu Enterprise Data Management und Data Platform

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

Fundierte Kenntnisse zu allen Aspekten des Datenmanagements. Dies beinhaltet folgende Aspekte so vollständig wie möglich:

• Verständnis zu End-to-End Prozessen und der Datenarchitektur von internationalen Universalbanken, idealerweise mit Fokus auf Private/ Retail Banking

• Nachweisliche Erfahrung bei der Entwicklung von Datenarchitekturen und den Herausforderungen bei der Bereitstellung harmonisierter Daten

• Solides Verständnis zu Vorschriften der Datenregulierung und Kenntnisse der Market Practice, wie diese geschäftsspezifisch interpretiert und umgesetzt werden

• Solides Verständnis von AI-Methoden, idealerweise mit praktischer Erfahrung von Use Cases im Umfeld vom Datenmanagement zur Erzielung von Produktivitäts- und Effizienzgewinnen

• Hervorragender Team Player mit umfangreicher Erfahrung im Management komplexer Stakeholderstrukturen inklusive der Kommunikation mit Senior Management

• Fließend in Englisch und Deutsch

Overview

The team “Data Architecture Solutions” is part of the Sub-Domain Divisional Data Office (DDO) reporting into the Domain Data & Analytics within TDI CIO Private Bank. The Sub-Domain is led by the Chief Data Architect (CDA) tasked to define, oversee, and drive compliance with the target state Data Architecture, divisional data models, data management processes, and Data Quality in line with Deutsche Bank’s strategic data objectives.

Within the team, the Data Specialist leads the definition, alignment and documentation of the Target State Data Architecture solutions for Private Bank (PB). Objective is provisioning of high-quality data via Strategic Pathways to consumers across Deutsche Bank as part of PB’s Data Landscape.

The Data Specialist ensures compliance with Group Architecture Principles and Standards in line with PB Business Objectives. The role requires leadership for guiding stakeholders across business and technology towards pragmatic solutions.

Your key responsibilities

The Data Specialist supports the PB CDA as part of the Data Architecture Solutions team with focus on proper sharing of PB owned data in line with Group Data Architecture Principles and Standards with data consumers across Deutsche Bank:

• Ensure the compliance of PB with the applicable rules for Data Architecture regarding sourcing of the data, documentation of the data lineage, and data quality assessment and remediation

• Develop data architecture solutions in close collaboration with the PB Solution/Enterprise Architects, Data Owner and Data Provisioning teams

• Represent PB in the group feedback processes for Data Policy and Architecture Standards evolution; seek approvals from the Group Authorities, e.g., for tactical solutions.

• Closely collaborate with the Data Modelling and Data Landscape teams evolving Deutsch Bank’s Enterprise Data Model from a PB perspective

• Optimize processes, methods and tooling regarding data definition (e.g. using Collibra) and data lineage applying AI and modern concepts like Data Mesh and Data Products

• Support PB key data initiatives Enterprise Data Management and Data Platform programs

Your skills and experiences

Sound overview of all aspects of data management covering as many as possible of the following specifics:

• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end processes and the data architecture of international financial institutions, ideally in Private/Retail Banking

• Proven track record of solution development for data architecture and the challenges of harmonized data provisioning

• Solid understanding of data regulations and ideally market practice of their business specific interpretation

• Sound understanding of AI methods, ideally with hands-on experience with data related use cases

• Excellent team player and extensive experience in managing complex stakeholder landscapes including senior management communication

• Fluent English and German
