Responsibilities

• Employ techniques and theories from mathematics, statistics, semiconductor physics, materials science, and information technology to uncover patterns in data, develop predictive models, actionable insights, and solutions.
• Interact with experienced Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Areas Engineers, and UX teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis projects and improve existing tools.
• Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory and new solution development activities.
• Apply machine learning and other advanced analytical methods to solve complex problems and improve our manufacturing processes.
• Extract data from different databases using SQL and other query languages, applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
   

Requirements

• B.S. / M.S. or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Familiar with statistical modeling, feature extraction, and analysis.
• Background in supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning, exposure to the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Strong data extraction and cleansing skills using SQL and other query languages.
• Strong software development skills.
• Experienced with or desire to learn:
  • Machine learning and advanced analytical methods.
  • Python, R, pySpark, SparkR, SparklyR, Hadoop (Hive, Spark, HBase).
  • Teradata and other SQL databases.
  • TensorFlow and other statistical software, including scripting for automating analyses.
  • SSIS, ETL.
  • JavaScript, AngularJS 2.0, Tableau.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
