Synopsis
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Scientist to help unlock the power of data to drive smarter decisions and innovation. As a data scientist, you’ll transform complex data into actionable insights, build predictive models and help shape data driven strategies that make a real impact.
Accountabilities
- Deliver actionable insights and predictive models that inform strategic decision making
- Ensure data science models are robust, explainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Collaborate across teams to embed models into production environments
- Uphold ethical use of data, ensuring compliance with governance, privacy, and regulation
- Collect clean and pre process large data sets from various structured sources
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Develop and validate statistical models
- Build data visualisation using matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly or BI tools such as Tableau
- Expericnce with MS Aure cloud platforms and Databricks
- High proficiency in coding languages of SQL, Python
Education & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a data science or similar role.
- University degree, technology certifications advantageous.
- Experience following the Scrum methodology (certification is desirable)
- Great communication skills
- Familiar with Machine Learning
