Are you passionate about Data & AI? 🤖

At Satori Analytics, we aim to change the world one algorithm at a time by bringing clarity to global brands through Data & AI. From cloud-based ecosystems for fintech to predictive models for airlines, our cutting-edge solutions cover the entire data lifecycle—from ingestion to AI applications.

As a fast-growing scale-up, our team of 100+ tech specialists—including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and more—delivers innovative analytics solutions across industries like FMCG, retail, manufacturing and FSI. Join us as we lead the data revolution in South-Eastern Europe and beyond!

What Your Day Might Look Like:

Technical & Delivery Leadership

  • Own and evolve data engineering standards, best practices, and architectural principles across Satori projects
  • Act as a senior technical authority for complex data platforms (cloud data stacks, pipelines, streaming, orchestration)
  • Support project teams in solution design, risk management, and technical decision-making
  • Review and challenge designs to ensure scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency
  • Partner with Tech Leads to ensure consistency and quality across projects

People Management & Leadership

  • Line-manage Senior Data Engineers and Tech Leads, supporting growth, performance, and career progression
  • Coach engineers on technical depth, ownership, communication, and leadership behaviors
  • Contribute to performance reviews, development plans, and promotion decisions in alignment with Satori’s competency framework
  • Actively role-model Satori’s values around collaboration, transparency, and accountability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with POs to align technical solutions with client needs and delivery constraints
  • Partner with Data Science, AI, and Cloud teams to ensure smooth end-to-end solutions
  • Support presales and discovery phases by contributing technical input, estimations, and solution framing when needed

Organizational Impact

  • Identify gaps in skills, tooling, or processes and propose pragmatic improvements
  • Contribute to internal initiatives (guilds, playbooks, training, knowledge sharing)
  • Help scale data engineering capability as Satori grows, without losing quality or culture

Requirements

Your Superpowers🚀:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with exposure to complex, production-grade data platforms
  • Proven experience in leading senior engineers and/or technical teams
  • Strong expertise in modern data stacks (e.g. cloud platforms, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, orchestration, streaming)
  • Experience working in consulting or project-based environments is a strong plus
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical depth with strategic thinking

What Success Looks Like:

  • Data engineering projects are delivered with high technical quality and predictability
  • Engineers feel supported, challenged, and clear about expectations and growth paths
  • Tech Leads and Product Owners trust you as a partner, not just a reviewer
  • Satori’s data engineering capability becomes more consistent, scalable, and resilient
