Data Engineer

Overview

The Data Engineer is a key role in the Capital Caring Health data infrastructure. This position manages all organizational needs for data and ensures a framework is in place to ingest, process, map and visualize all data requirements.

 

Location:  Falls Church, VA

 

Hours: M-F 9-5

 

COVID-19 vaccine required to be completed upon start.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer is a key role in the Capital Caring Health data infrastructure. This position manages all organizational needs for data and ensures a framework is in place to ingest, process, map and visualize all data requirements. The primary responsibility of this position includes leading data governance and objectives to meet organizational needs, maintenance/improvement of data warehouse and related constructs, and supporting operational departments with data-based tools. This role is responsible for close coordination with key project stakeholders. The Data Engineer may lead a team of analyst to create and maintain analytical resources.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

Must have at least Minimum 2 years’ experience designing, developing and maintaining data warehouse structure with multiple data feeds. Experience designing and building business applications, SQL, SQL Server management, BI development, SSRS, SSIS, and Visual Studio/Azure Data Studio.

Education Requirements

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Masters’ Degree is preferred.

 

Driver's License

Must have a driver's license in good standing and access to a vehicle during working hours.
