Data Analytics Tech Lead (m/f/d) - relocation

Our partner, a well-known international corporation, is seeking a Data Analytics Tech Lead (m/f/d) to join their team. This is a full-time position in the Düsseldorf metropolitan area, Germany (partial work from home is possible).

Relocation from abroad is possible.

As the Tech Leader, you'll play a key role in managing and developing a talented data analytics team of 7 individuals. Your primary focus will be on solving complex technical data challenges to drive the company toward its business objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data & Analytics team, managing them in accordance with agile values and principles, ensuring efficient project delivery and optimal performance.
• Foster the growth and development of your team members, and closely collaborate with a Product Owner and Chapter Leads.
• Strike a balance between people management responsibilities and hands-on technical tasks, ensuring a 50/50 split to drive both team cohesion and project success.
• Taking over one of the squad roles: Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Product Owner, Frontend Expert, or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Collaborate with business partners to devise innovative strategies and solutions, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and tools to meet and exceed business objectives.
• Engage in strategic collaborations with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and technological advancement.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and/or project management in data & analytics, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving the company’s goals.
• Extensive experience in one of the following roles: Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Product Owner, Frontend Expert (Tableau), or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Proven track record of working in large enterprises, showcasing your ability to thrive in complex organizational structures and deliver results at scale.
• Extensive experience implementing agile values and principles, coupled with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
• Fluency in English at a C1 level, enabling seamless communication and collaboration in an international setting.
