If you’re seeking a career that offers purpose and aligns with your values join us and start your #Redcareer today.

About the role:
As an Analytics Architect, you will define and evolve our enterprise analytics architecture across Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. You operate above individual dashboards or pipelines and instead design the structural foundations — from capacity strategy and governance to scalable semantic modeling and a clean metrics layer.

This role is about architectural clarity at scale: enabling 500+ users to work on trusted, high-performing data products while ensuring governance, observability, and long-term maintainability across domains.

About the tech stack:
Microsoft Fabric (Premium Capacity), Power BI Premium, Databricks, SparkSQL, Unity Catalog, DBT (metrics layer & transformation framework), Azure AD (RBAC & governance).

About your tasks:

  • Define and own the enterprise analytics architecture across Fabric and Databricks, aligning platform design with business scale and long-term data strategy.
  • Architect and optimize large-scale semantic and data models including incremental refresh, partitioning, aggregation strategies and composite models.
  • Establish a governed metrics layer (DBT) ensuring clear metric definitions, versioned transformations and separation between transformation and consumption.
  • Design and enforce data governance & access control using Unity Catalog, RBAC, RLS/OLS and workspace isolation strategies.
  • Lead performance diagnostics at system level — identifying whether bottlenecks originate from data modeling, DAX logic, Spark processing, capacity strategy or governance setup.

About you:

  • You have strong production experience with Fabric / Power BI Premium capacity, including performance behavior under high user concurrency.
  • You bring hands-on expertise in Databricks and SparkSQL, including performance optimization and data governance via Unity Catalog.
  • You understand how to build and scale a metrics layer architecture (DBT preferred) in an enterprise environment.
  • You think in systems, not dashboards — you are comfortable diagnosing complex performance issues across modeling, compute, and capacity layers.

About your benefits:

In order to provide you with the best possible support for your individual needs - whether it‘s living a healthy life, having enough time for your family, or developing your skills - we offer a wide range of different, site-specific benefits:

  • Work from Home: If your job does not require you to be present in the office, we can arrange the place you work from individually - even for up to 20 days a year anywhere in the EU.
  • Personal development: Grow! We support and encourage your individual development through various in- and external trainings.
  • Redcare events: We promote teambuilding through creative team events, and celebrate our successes together at regularly scheduled parties.
  • Corporate pension plan: We offer a company pension scheme and have a dedicated external consultant to offer you the best guidance and advice.
  • Mental Health: Get quick and professional help from psychologists of nilo if you feel overwhelmed in private or professional life. Anonymous and free of charge.
