Job Summary:
The Data Analyst (Mid) will be a vital member of the Service Operation team, working to enhance data management practices and ensure compliance with Executive Order 14028 and Memorandum 21-31. This role involves supporting the enrollment of enterprise IT assets into the centralized logging repository, developing schemas to standardize logs, and conducting independent validation and verification (IV&V) of consolidated logs. The Data Analyst will also assist in reviewing and approving secured external website access requests (EWARS), managing the Enterprise IT configuration Change Management process, and supporting the administration of accounts for Justice Enterprise File Sharing (JEFS).

Key Responsibilities:
·       Analyze and interpret data related to enterprise IT asset enrollment in the centralized logging repository.
·       Develop and maintain schemas to standardize the logs being ingested to ensure data integrity and security.
·       Engage with system owners and stakeholders to facilitate the enrollment process and gather necessary data.
·       Conduct independent validation and verification (IV&V) of consolidated logs to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
·       Support the review and approval of secured external website access requests (EWARS) by analyzing relevant data.
·       Collaborate with team members to oversee the Enterprise IT configuration Change Management process, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
·       Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create reports and dashboards that present findings and recommendations.
·       Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, provide updates, and receive feedback.

Unique Skills/Tasks/Software:
·       Proficiency in Cybersecurity SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic).
·       Experience with Microsoft Power Platform applications, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
·       Familiarity with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk) for project tracking and documentation.

Preferred Certifications:
·       PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
·       Splunk Core Certified Power User
·       ITIL v4 Practice Manager (PM)
·       Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate

Qualifications:
·       Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
·       Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
·       Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
