D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Solution Architect

Job Description

Design and govern the technical architecture for D365 ERP and connected enterprise systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions across integrations, customizations, and platform configurations.

Own the technical architecture for D365 F&O, Commerce, and connected systems.

Design integration architecture between D365 and POS, WMS, e-commerce, and third-party platforms.

Define technical standards for D365 customizations, extensions, and data management.

Review and approve technical specifications and code from D365 developers.

Ensure development follows Microsoft best practices (X++, C#, Power Platform).

Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and performance testing.

Oversee D365 environment management: DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.

Manage LCS (Lifecycle Services) and Azure DevOps for D365 release management.

Govern D365 upgrades, patching, and quality updates.

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.

Microsoft Certified: D365 Finance & Operations Developer (MB-500). Azure Developer/Architect certification is preferred.

7–9 years of experience in D365/AX technical development, including 3+ years as a Technical Architect.

Proven experience is required.

Strong knowledge of D365 F&O technical architecture, X++, C#, and Power Platform.

Experience with D365 integrations using OData, REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, and Data Integrator.

Hands-on experience with LCS and Azure DevOps for D365 ALM.

Knowledge of Azure cloud services and D365 cloud topology.

Experience in performance optimization and security design.
