Cyber security analyst

Optimiza is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting our organization from cyber threats by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and incidents to quickly identify and address potential breaches.
• Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, analyzing logs and other data sources.
• Implement and maintain security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture.
• Develop and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure compliance with security policies and protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and offer recommendations for improvement.
• Provide support during security audits and assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and protocols (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SIEM).
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
