Job description

Purpose and Impact:

Amentum is seeking Junior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Position will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hrs

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • 2–4 years supporting cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, SOC operations, incident response, or threat analysis.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or Elastic.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and RMF.
  • Security+ required (or ability to obtain within six months).

Security Clearance Required:

  • Active TS/SCI or DOE Q
