Ingredion is looking for a Customer Specifications Specialist to join our team and ensure customer specifications remain a critical standard for evaluating product quality. Your expertise will help us deliver on our promise to customers and strengthen global coordination.

As a Customer Specifications Specialist, you will be part of a global team that coordinates customer specification documents and ensures timely, accurate reviews aligned with quality standards.

This role reports to the Lead Customer Specifications US & Canada.

What will you do: 

  • Lead and coordinate the customer specification review process regionally, working with participants from each plant and country to provide timely reviews aligned with customer segmentation policy.
  • Partner with colleagues to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Review customer quality agreements with the appropriate plant and edit agreements to meet Ingredion quality requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, plant quality, and sales to complete agreements and specification reviews.
  • Submit regional reviews for global customer review.
  • Maintain organized records of completed customer specifications and quality agreements in shared locations for easy retrieval by plant quality and global document teams.

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational, technical, or business role; plant quality or customer quality documentation experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all levels of the Quality Organization.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.
