Customer Service Officer - Government Trade

As part of our growth and development, we are looking for a Customer Service Officer - Government Trade to join our team. 

The key responsibilities of the Customer Service Officer - Government Trade are divided as such:

• Dedicated representative for APL Govt/US Flag impelled shipments within assigned area of responsibility.
• Handle and process bookings and all related matters, including problem-solving and customer contact.
• Provide customers with accurate and timely information.
• Proactively communicate delays, changes, and shipment status.
• Collect feedback to improve service quality and review processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Back Office, Logistics).
• Send all required reports to VIP customers within specified timeframes.
• Track and follow up on inbound shipments within assigned area.
• Liaise with the manager in case of problems or issues.
• Ensure cost recovery
   

We are looking for individuals that have:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation, VLOOKUP)
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Customer-focused attitude with a proactive approach
• Team player with strong collaboration skills
• Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
