Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with evolving business objectives and operational workflows. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and optimizing performance to support seamless business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and their application within SAP environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP FI modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP FI and other SAP modules.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
