Job description

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled CSA Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this specialized role, you will focus on the civil, structural, and architectural aspects of construction projects. Your duties will involve estimating costs, managing budgets, and providing financial advice for CSA works. Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for CSA works based on project specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct cost analysis and develop budgets for civil, structural, and architectural components of projects.
  • Manage the procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids from contractors.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure financial control throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Update and maintain bills of quantities for CSA works in collaboration with project teams.
  • Advise on contractual matters and assist in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Perform risk assessments related to costs and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and standards to best support project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on civil, structural, and architectural projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, as well as MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
