ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position WAITER for CRYSTAL CRUISES!

Waiter is responsible to assist their senior waiters in serving our guests at their station or other assigned areas ensuring that the six-star Crystal service standard is maintained at all times ensuring a superior guest experience and a healthy productive work environment within company guidelines and budgets.

Conditions:

• Work in top level, 5* cruise company, luxury segment
• Medical insurance provided during contract
• Flight paid to ship and to a home address after completed contract

• Joining expenses: reimbursed upon completion of first contract.
• STCW: reimbursed upon commencement of second contract.
• Contract length 5-6 months with following 2 months of vacation.

Responsibilities:

• To greet guests in a professional manner and to provide them with prompt, courteous and friendly food and beverage service by assisting their senior waiter at their assigned station in Waterside, Silk, Churasscaria and / or Marketplace restaurants or other venues as assigned.
• Liaise with senior headwaiter and galley to ensure adherence to any guest dietary requirements and / or food allergies.
• Manage restaurant reservations and seating requirements, when instructed.
• Learn and use appropriate food and wine terminology & pronunciation, to enhance the Guest's dining experience; become familiar with menu descriptions and wine lists, in order to discuss items appropriately with guests.
• Present F&B menus to Guests, suggest dinner courses, appropriate wines and answer questions regarding menu and wine selections.
• Relay orders to the Galley; serve courses from the Galley and beverages from various locations, following safe Company Alcohol Serving Policies.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, manuals, directives and appearance standards at all times.
• To keep assigned service stations well stocked and organized (as per USPH / Shipboard Sanitation Program standards including logs and labeling).
• Report any maintenance issues to assigned supervisor and follow up on work orders until completed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned, not limited to the above.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a luxury international hotel property as a waiter/tress or (2) years of experience in the luxury cruise industry as a waiter/tress (Cruise ship experience is preferred).
• Must have good food and beverage knowledge.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal and public communication skills.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills are required together with an eye for details.
• Must possess the ability to interact with all levels of people while communicating in an effective, yet diplomatic fashion.
• Needs to have an outgoing personality and possess a positive attitude, maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times even under pressure using their knowledge of Crystal Basics.
• Vaccination Covid-19 mandatory with WHO approved vaccines
