Turkey Creek Medical Center is looking to add CRNAs to its growing anesthesia team in Knoxville, Tennessee. Providers will enjoy a diverse case mix, a modern practice environment, and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Located in the heart of Knoxville, Tennessee, Turkey Creek Medical Center is a leading acute-care facility within Tennova Healthcare, one of the state’s largest healthcare networks. The medical center offers a broad range of services, including a 24/7 emergency department, ICU, advanced surgical suites, and a dedicated heart hospital.

Connected to the medical center, Tennova Surgery Center West features four fully equipped operating rooms and two advanced endoscopy suites, providing an efficient and modern environment for both patients and clinicians.

Case Mix

This opportunity offers a diverse case mix, including:

  • General surgery

  • GI and endoscopy

  • Cardiac cases

  • Ophthalmology

  • Simple pediatric cases

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments

  • Obtain and/or verify informed patient consent

  • Discuss anesthesia options, risks, and expectations with patients

  • Provide anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence

  • Monitor patient physiological status throughout the perioperative period

Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program

  • Current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
