CRNA opportunity to join a supportive care team at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, in an area ideal for outdoor exploration! Offering a variety of cases and sites, Crouse includes the main hospital, 3 ASC’s, excellent Anesthesia Tech support, and a Pre-Op Testing Center. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. Staff members work in a care-team model.

Case Assignments & Schedule
• General, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani’s, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds
• Schedule: Current open shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. Call is voluntary and not required. Post-call day off. Additional pay for call is offered.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education  
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
