Credit Controller

MSA Outsourcing Solutions - UK is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to support one of our UK based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debtor accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining excellent client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment and contribute to improving the company’s cash flow and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
• Communicate proactively with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve billing disputes efficiently.
• Prepare and send regular reminders, statements, and invoices to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients to maximize recovery.
• Collaborate closely with the finance and property management teams to resolve any account discrepancies.
• Prepare reports on debtor status, collection progress, and cash flow forecasts for management.
• Identify potential risks related to credit and advise management accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding credit control and collections.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role, preferably within real estate or property management.
• Strong understanding of credit control procedures and debt recovery.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and assess credit risk.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
