Team Introduction
TikTok LIVE-Regional Operations-Japan aims to empower a safe, authentic, and inclusive LIVE environment and provide the best real-time experience that cultivates a sense of belonging, enhances real-life experience, enables diverse businesses and provides economic opportunities for people to interact in real-time. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period. In addition, working from the Tokyo office for 28 hours per week is required.

You will be responsible for supporting the overall management of creators on TikTok LIVE. Specifically, you will analyze creators’ characteristics and streaming behaviors using both qualitative and quantitative methods to accurately identify their needs and challenges. Based on those insights, you will help formulate and execute strategies aimed at expanding their revenue and fan base.

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, proposing, implementing, and analyzing workshops and seminars for creators
- Managing and operating creator communities
- Developing strategies based on market and competitor research, from creator acquisition to community growth and engagement
- Setting and managing goals and KPIs, as well as conducting data analysis

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Able to commute to our Tokyo office (in-office work is assumed)
- Advanced level of Japanese plus English, or advanced level of Japanese plus Chinese, for external communications with Chinese Market Stakeholders
- A strong interest in the entertainment field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in an international and diverse environment

Preferred Qualifications
- A proactive approach to learning and taking initiative
- A strong interest in live streaming
- Knowledge or experience in data analysis or statistics
- Knowledge or experience in key visual or web page design
