Country Manager - Ghana

Role Summary

The Country Manager for Ghana will be responsible for leading NCR Atleos Banking's commercial strategy in Ghana, with accountability for sales performance, customer relationships, regulatory engagement, and operational execution.

This role will drive sustainable revenue growth, develop strategic customer partnerships, and ensure alignment with regional and global business objectives. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving growth through complex solution sales, executive stakeholder engagement, and strategic account management.

The Country Manager will serve as the face of NCR Atleos in Ghana, representing the organization with financial institutions, customers, government bodies, industry stakeholders, and internal leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

* Lead the Ghana sales and relationship management teams to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion.

* Develop and execute country-specific commercial strategies aligned with regional and global business goals.

* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across financial institutions and strategic enterprise accounts.

* Drive growth across NCR Atleos' hardware, software, services, and technology solutions portfolio.

* Maximize wallet share and revenue growth across existing customer relationships.

* Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring timely forecasting and reporting.

* Lead strategic customer engagements and complex commercial negotiations.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

* Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

* Act as the senior commercial representative for NCR Atleos within Ghana.

* Lead strategic negotiations and oversee execution of major commercial agreements.

* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

* Engage with government and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local laws and industry requirements.

* Ensure all business activities adhere to NCR Atleos policies, governance frameworks, and ethical standards.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing local team.

* Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.

* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, customer focus, and commercial excellence.

* Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

* Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitive developments, customer challenges, and emerging opportunities.

* Provide strategic recommendations to regional leadership based on market insights.

* Lead recurring business reviews with regional and global stakeholders.

* Support long-term growth planning and market expansion initiatives.

Operational Excellence

* Ensure efficient execution of sales operations, customer onboarding, project delivery, and service excellence.

* Develop and analyze performance dashboards, financial metrics, sales reports, and operational KPIs.

* Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across the business.

Supervisory Responsibilities

* Direct oversight of sales and relationship management functions in Ghana.

* Leadership of cross-functional collaboration with Corporate, Services, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams.

* Responsibility for building and maintaining a high-performing commercial organization.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

* Minimum 10 years of experience in technology, banking technology, financial services, payments, software, hardware, managed services, or related industries.

* Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving ambitious commercial targets.

* Demonstrated experience leading enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development functions.

* Experience managing executive-level customer relationships and complex commercial negotiations.

* Proven ability to drive business growth within a highly competitive market environment.

* Experience managing P&L performance and achieving financial objectives.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related discipline.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

* Experience selling complex technology solutions, including hardware, software, managed services, digital platforms, or integrated solutions.

* Strong understanding of the banking, payments, financial technology, or transaction services sectors.

* Previous experience in a Sales Director, Commercial Director, Business Development Director, Country Leader, Managing Director, or equivalent senior leadership position.

* Demonstrated success leading large-scale commercial opportunities and long-term strategic customer partnerships.

* Experience leading high-performing sales and customer-facing teams.

* Master's degree or MBA is considered an advantage.
