Costing Analyst

How will you make a difference?

• Analyze product cost structures across categories and sourcing regions. 

• Develop and maintain cost models for materials, labor, logistics, and overhead. 

• Utilize GSD (General Sewing Data) to evaluate labor standards and optimize sewing operations. 

• Support seasonal costing reviews and margin analysis for new and existing products. 

• Partner with sourcing and product teams to evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate cost components. 

• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and currency fluctuations to assess cost impact. 

• Prepare costing reports and dashboards for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. 

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Ensure costing data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. 

Who we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 

• 5+ years of experience in costing, sourcing, supply chain analytics in the apparel industry 

• Strong GSD experience, including the use of General Sewing Data to determine SMVs; analyze labor standards, optimize sewing operation, managing cost models. 

• Data analytics: Skilled in Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools. 

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and sustainability standards. 

• Experience with ERP systems, production planning tools, and data analytics platforms. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying cost efficiencies. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
