Cost Controller

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project spending and analyze financial data to reduce costs.
• Prepare and sustain precise cost reports throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the budgeting process by offering detailed cost analysis and forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure adherence to cost targets.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in project costs by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
• Review contracts and agreements to confirm adherence to cost structures.
• Aid in the creation of monthly financial forecasts and evaluations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of procurement processes and suggest improvements.
• Provide training and support on cost control procedures to team members.
• Consistently report on financial status and variances to the management team.
• Implement and uphold efficient cost control policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis, preferably in the construction or engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and procedures.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is required.
