Requirements
- Strong Cost Accounting Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis to manage and optimize key cost accounting functions effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: Adept at partnering with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance teams to translate complex cost drivers into actionable insights that influence operational and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update standard costs: Oversee materials, labor, and overhead standard costing, lead variance analysis, and communicate key cost drivers to stakeholders.
- Inventory accounting oversight: Manage inventory valuation, reserves, obsolescence, and monitor inventory levels, turns, and aging to optimize working capital.
- Support physical inventory processes: Coordinate and support physical and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with operations, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to analyze product cost drivers and identify cost improvement and operational efficiency opportunities.
- Financial analysis and reporting: Conduct product pricing, cost, and margin analysis; support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; deliver actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.
