Summary

The Corporate Membership Outreach Manager owns and manages the corporate membership recruitment pipeline and serves as the primary steward of prospective CEO and executive relationships from initial engagement through membership commitment. 

This role manages the top-of-funnel pipeline, qualifies organizational fit for potential membership, advances opportunities through defined pipeline stages, manages recruitment related systems (HubSpot), and supports revenue growth.


This position functions as a hybrid sales account manager and sales operations leader and plays a critical role in the growth of the Corporate Membership program, with accountability for pipeline health, relationship progression, CRM integrity, and development and execution of recruitment strategy in close partnership with the Director of Corporate Membership. 


Primary Responsibilities

Corporate Recruitment & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for prospective corporate members, engaging CEOs and senior executives throughout the recruitment lifecycle. 
  • Build trusted, values-aligned relationships that reflect the mission and principles of Conscious Capitalism
  • Maintain continuity of relationship context, engagement history, and next-step strategy to ensure a high-quality experience for prospects


Pipeline Ownership 

  • Own day-to-day management of the corporate membership recruitment pipeline, including market exploration, qualification, progression, follow-up cadence, and readiness for commitment
  • Actively advance prospects through define pipeline stages, ensuring momentum and visibility at each step
  • Identify stalled opportunities, risks, or misalignment and recommend corrective action
  • Prepare prospects for Director and CEO-led conversations to support successful membership conversion


Qualification & Organizational Fit Assessment

  • Apply defined criteria to research and prospect membership targets, assess organizational readiness, leadership alignment, and cultural fit for corporate membership
  • Conduct early discovery conversations to understand CEO priorities, organizational context, and potential alignment value
  • Recommend “go / no-go” decisions and escalate appropriate cases to the Membership Director
  • Ensure recruitment efforts remain aligned with membership strategy, target profiles, and growth profiles


Recruitment Events for Pipeline Advancement


  • Manage Conscious Capitalism and industry recruitment-focused events (e.g. Dinners on Purpose, workshops, conferences, and similar CEO gatherings) as strategic relationship and pipeline advancement mechanisms. Attend as required.
  • Coordinate invitations, logistics, and communications related to recruitment events
  • Own post-event follow-up strategy to deepen engagement and move prospects toward commitment
  • Track outcomes and conversion to determine effectiveness


Sales Operations, Systems & Reporting

  • Service as the functional owner of HubSpot usage for corporate membership recruitment actvity
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, data integrity, and consistent documentation of prospect activity
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, metrics, insights, and forecasting inputs to support membership revenue planning
  • Partner with the Membership Director and Operations/IT to improve recruitment workflows, tools, and reporting practices


Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Events to ensure recruitment communications and experiences are coordinated and effective
  • Coordinate a thoughtful handoff to the Member Experience role following commitment, ensuring continuity of relationship context and expectations
  • Remain available during early onboarding to support trust-building and a smooth transition into the membership program.


Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, relationship-based pipelines with senior leaders
  • Strong judgment in assessing organizational fit, readiness, and alignment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort engagement CEOs and executive teams
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance mission integrity with growth and revenue objectices
  • Comfort working in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and amanging multiple opportunities
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify fit and opportunity.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively within a small team.


Experience

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in relationship management, business development, membership, or similar roles.
  • Experience working with C-Suite or senior executive stakeholders. 
  • Background in nonprofit, association, professional services, or mission-driven environments is strongly preferred.
