Apply to this jobA rare occasion to become an integral part of a growing Corporate Governance function has become available through a leading automotive supplied manufacturer headquartered in Cologne.
During my face to face meeting with the CFO and Finance Director in their Headquarters, they outlined to me their plans to expand as a business, and the repercussions to their personnel requirements. Their objective is to invest heavily in specific areas to increase turnover by 40% in the next 4 years.
They currently have a small corporate governance team comprising of 8 individuals, and are seeking specialists to join the team to implement brand new internal controls procedures on a global scale, and build a specific audit team from scratch.
Your role will include liaising with senior stakeholders within the business, to ensure the necessary controls and compliance procedures are implemented in line with growth through expansion and acquisition.
You should come from a strong background of finance, and have a proven track record of reporting to senior management within the business. It is likely the successful candidate will be from a consultancy background, and have held a senior position within the audit/risk/compliance department of an industrial company. You should be fluent in English and German. As SAP is presently being implemented across the business, previous experience using the ERP system would be advantageous.
