MARI is seeking a Director of Corporate Communications to help shape and build internal and corporate communications across its global portfolio of live events and cultural properties.
As the company continues to grow internationally, this role will focus on strengthening internal alignment, shaping corporate messaging and supporting leadership communications across the organisation. The Director will work closely with senior executives and teams across the portfolio to ensure clear and consistent communication of company priorities.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution, helping to build the communications infrastructure that connects teams across multiple brands, markets and live experiences. This is an opportunity for an experienced communications professional to play a central role in developing the company’s corporate communications function as the organisation continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
- Help develop and implement corporate communications strategies that support the company’s growth and evolving portfolio
- Shape messaging around key business developments including company initiatives, partnerships, leadership appointments, investments and acquisitions
- Support the development of corporate narratives that position the company within the global live events, cultural and entertainment landscape
- Work closely with senior leadership on communications related to key announcements, speaking opportunities and industry positioning
Internal Communications
- Help shape internal communications across the organisation, ensuring teams are informed, engaged and aligned with company priorities
- Develop messaging for leadership updates, company announcements and organisational initiatives
- Support executive communications including leadership messaging, town halls, internal briefings and company-wide updates
- Help develop systems, processes and resources that support the growth of the company’s corporate communications function
Cross-Portfolio Coordination
- Work closely with leadership and teams across the portfolio to ensure clear and consistent messaging around company initiatives
- Support coordination of company-wide announcements and communications initiatives across multiple brands and markets
- Partner with teams across events, partnerships, marketing and operations to align communications with broader organisational priorities
- Contribute to the development of communications processes and shared resources as the function grows
Issues Management
- Provide support on messaging related to sensitive or reputational issues where needed
- Work with senior leadership and external advisors to ensure clear and consistent communications when required
Key Qualifications
- 8–10 years’ experience in corporate communications, internal communications or strategic communications roles
- Strong experience developing corporate messaging and supporting communications for complex organisations
- Experience supporting senior leadership with executive communications and internal engagement initiatives
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling messaging
- Experience working across multiple teams, brands or business units within complex organisations
- Strong organisational skills and sound judgement in fast-moving environments
- Experience working with external agencies or communications partners is beneficial
- Interest in sectors such as live events, culture, sport, entertainment or media is desirable

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:
