The purpose of this Knoxville, TN based job is to address legal matters within specific departments and subject matter areas while maintaining close communication with colleagues to ensure an integrated, consistent approach to corporate legal services.

Essential Job Functions 

  1. Draft, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements and various other contracts and licenses.
  2. Research regulatory issues such as credit regulations and lottery regulations.
  3. Provide analysis and assistance in resolving customer issues.
  4. Review customer and vendor bankruptcy filings and prepare claims for bankruptcy proceedings; engage outside counsel for bankruptcy litigation issues.
  5. Provide legal support for facility leases, distribution agreements for third parties, and lottery documentation and filings.
  6. Identify claims for class action litigation as plaintiff and gather information for claims process.
  • JD Degree or Equivalent
  • At least 3 Years' Experience
  • Must have contract law experience 
  • Knowledge of general business law 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Licensed in Tennesse  
  • This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
