At Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen, our mission has always been to reinvent fast-food. We’re Australia’s only fast-food restaurant to be 100% clean, meaning there are no added preservatives, artificial flavours, added colours or unacceptable additives in our food. Casual Position - The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Kitchen experience is great but not essential
• Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Basic food preparation skills and willingness to learn new techniques
• Strong team player mentality with excellent communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Residence within 10km of Manly CBD preferred
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required
• Passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences
