COOK - FULL TIME - WETHERILL PARK

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team in Wetherill Park, Australia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to an efficient and positive work environment.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders
• Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Proven experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen setting
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
• Current food safety and hygiene certification

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
