Role Overview

As a Controls Application Engineer II, you will support Sales and Engineering on pre-sales and post-sales projects, with a focus on controls design activities for medium and high-complexity work. You will contribute to system selection, project documentation, and engineering packages that help deliver accurate, buildable solutions for customers.

What will you do?

  • Support Sales and Engineering teams on pre-sales and post-sales projects.

  • Prepare takeoffs, system and device selections, bill of materials, pricing, and subcontractor RFPs.

  • Create marked-up drawings, BAS system architecture, and conduit or wiring diagrams.

  • Develop shop drawings, submittal drawings, and as-built drawings based on site surveys and markup reviews.

  • Prepare post-sales design drawings and engineering packages.

  • Provide support to internal and external engineering teams on medium and high-complexity projects.

How will you do it? 

  • You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and other project stakeholders to keep designs aligned with customer needs and project scope.

  • You will stay organized across multiple deliverables, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

  • You will learn continuously about building controls systems and apply that knowledge to improve your day-to-day technical support.

  • You will communicate professionally, solve problems early, and contribute with a collaborative, accountable, and safety-minded approach.

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in engineering-related activities.

  • Effective and professional communication skills with internal and external customers and peers.

  • General business-level English proficiency (B2 or above).

  • Willingness and ability to learn about building controls systems.

  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
