We are looking for a highly motivated Controller to join our team!

Penn Machine Company, a Marmon Group/Berkshire Hathaway Company, is a proven 100+ year old company in a growth industry. We are a leading manufacturer of products and services for the transit, railroad, mining, general industry, and oil/gas industries in the US and globally.

Our Controller is a key position of our financial team, overseeing all accounting operations for our Company that includes manufacturing locations in Johnstown, PA and Blairsville, PA. This position is essential to ensuring the integrity of our financial processes and compliance. The Controller will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, working closely with leadership to drive financial strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Accounting or Finance 

• Minimum 5 years general accounting experience including experience in a standard cost and manufacturing

• Knowledge and strong understanding of GAAP and SOX

• Effective and persuasive presentation skills

• Supervisory experience

• CPA/CMA certification and lean office/manufacturing experience are pluses.
