Apply to this jobWe are looking for a Tax Accountant to join Ennismore’s global collective. This is an exciting new position within Ennismore’s growing portfolio of all-inclusive brands and will play a key role in launching two new brands with refreshed brand identities to the market in 2026. This position is Based in Cancun.
What you'll de doing...
- Prepare and file federal and local taxes, including VAT (IVA), Income Tax (ISR), ISR withholdings, VAT withholdings, and state taxes
- Determine annual income tax provisions
- Ensure timely compliance with monthly and annual tax obligations
- Record accounting entries related to taxes
- Maintain updated internal controls related to tax compliance
- Provide active support in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes
- Prepare annual income tax forecasts aligned with monthly income tax installments
- Calculate deferred taxes
- Prepare all related tax reconciliations
- Attend and respond to audits, reviews, and requirements from SAT and state authorities
- Identify potential tax risks and implement strategies to mitigate them through standardized policies and processes
What we are looking for...
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in tax-related positions
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax legislation
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Intermediate English level
- Advanced knowledge of tax compliance and accounting processes
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple priorities
