We’re looking for a Surgical Consultant / Sales to join us in São Paulo, Brazil.

Your Role

As a Surgical Consultant / Sales, you will be responsible for driving the growth of ZEISS's intraocular lenses (IOLs) and ophthalmic equipment business across São Paulo. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, hospitals, and surgical centers, and delivering sustainable commercial growth through strategic sales activities and customer engagement.

The role of Surgical Consultant / Sales will involve:

  • Prospecting new clients and developing business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Mapping high-potential accounts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers across clinics, hospitals, and surgical centers.
  • Building strategic relationships with physicians, managers, buyers, and institutional leadership while managing key accounts to drive growth, retention, and customer loyalty.
  • Presenting and selling ZEISS's portfolio of intraocular lenses (IOLs) and ophthalmic equipment, preparing commercial proposals, leading negotiations, and closing sales.
  • Managing the sales pipeline, forecasting opportunities, identifying cross-selling, upselling, and competitor conversion opportunities, while collaborating with marketing, clinical support, and internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and maximize ROI on commercial activities.

Your Experience

  • Proven sales experience, preferably within contact lenses, medical devices, or related healthcare segments.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, opening new accounts, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and institutional stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and commercial activities.
  • Willingness to travel and work extensively in the field across São Paulo.

It would be desirable if you had:

  • Experience within the ophthalmology market.
  • Knowledge of intraocular lenses (IOLs) or ophthalmic surgical equipment.
  • Experience managing strategic healthcare accounts and institutional sales processes.
  • English language

Role Details
