Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Project Leadership and Delivery
  • Project Lead: Lead and oversee the end-to-end multiple project delivery and ensuring the alignment with client’s objectives. Structure business problems and guide teams to deliver high-quality, insightful outputs.
  • Project Management: Manage project timeline, risks, budget and stakeholder expectations and relationships, as well as facilitating, tracking and monitoring issues and resolution and manage change requests.
  • Project Governance: Oversee complex project with multiple workstream leaders to ensure integration across multiple workstreams and to ensure deliverables meet EY quality standards.
  • Strategize and Plan: Establish project vision, define strategy and operating model that are client-centric and digital enabled to support client aspirations and goals, qualify the case for change and design the transformation journey roadmap.
  • Design and Implement: Design and implement project delivery model, encompassing end-to-end processes, incorporating accounting standards/policies and control requirements as well as emerging automation or technology-enabled solutions, designing the Finance Technology and Data landscape, talent skillsets and capabilities, organization structure and performance measurements; determine change impact, strategizing and executing enterprise-wide change management activities.
  • Transition and Stabilize: Manage transition activities including planning training and knowledge transfer activities, business cut-over strategy and activities, facilitating business readiness criteria and providing post Go-Live support.

 

2. Business Development

  • Pursue: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, lead the development of client proposals, and managing commercial aspects like revenue generation and project margins. Support organization of external events to build EY’s eminence in the market.
  • Optimize: Identify and prioritize opportunities for improving client’s business process through maximizing technology usage supported by emerging technology. Build and manage senior client relationships (Director to C-level) and act as a trusted advisor.

 

3. Risk and Quality Management

Serve as a role model for Quality & Risk Management (QRM), ensuring project delivery comply with EY risk and quality management standards/guidelines and regulatory requirements across multiple projects.

People Management

Lead, mentor, and coach diverse project teams; manage team performance reviews and ongoing career counselling; and foster an inclusive team culture. Building leadership capability within the practice.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields from reputable overseas and local universities. Master Degree and/or Professional Certification (CA/ CPA/ ACCA/ CMA/ CFA/ PMP) is preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of recent relevant working experience, preferably in:
    • Management Consulting,
    • Big-4 firms,
    • Banking, or
    • Insurance.
  • Has exposure to work/project in financial services, including but not limited to Digital Transformation, Strategy & Operations, Emerging Technology (Data & AI), IFRS Assessment/Implementation, Financial Planning & Analysis, Regulatory Compliance & Reporting, Due Diligence, Business Process Improvement/Optimization, Enterprise Risk Management, and Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong leadership and teamwork across countries collaboration
  • Strong project management with multiple projects and diverse team members
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal is mandatory
  • Comfortable with working in fast-paced environment with high-quality expectations
  • Confident in communication skill, both in terms of interpersonal and public speaking
