Diversey Consulting is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth across the DACH region.

This is a hybrid role combining technical expertise in food safety with commercial leadership. You’ll work closely with major food organizations, helping them design and implement world-class solutions—while driving revenue, partnerships, and market expansion.

🎯 What you’ll be responsible for

• Drive business growth across the DACH region, owning pipeline, revenue and results
• Develop and execute a commercial strategy to expand Diversey Consulting’s footprint
• Identify and build strategic partnerships within the food industry
• Lead consultative sales processes, from needs assessment to solution design and closing
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients (Quality, Operations, Food Safety leaders)
• Own regional P&L performance and business outcomes
• Coordinate and manage delivery teams (consultants, partners, laboratories, etc.)
• Ensure successful execution of client projects

👤 What we’re looking for

✅ Must-have:

• University degree in Food Safety, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Veterinary Sciences or similar
• Strong technical understanding of food safety and operations
• Fluency in German and English

✅ Experience & mindset:

• Experience in business development, sales, or consultative roles
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate expertise into business opportunities
• Ability to assess client needs and propose tailored, value-driven solutions
• Natural relationship builder with strong communication skills
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven
• Comfortable managing both clients and cross-functional delivery teams
