Consultant Psychiatrist – Forensic Mental Health

Location: Alice Springs and Darwin , NT
Salary Package: Up to $347,549 (inclusive of allowances)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs team in the Central Australia region. This role offers a rare opportunity to work across both forensic and community mental health settings in one of the most unique and culturally rich parts of Australia.

This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars.

  • Senior Specialist Clinician: $314,354 - $347,549
  • Additional allowances:

    • Private Practice Allowance: $103,538 - $145,005

  • Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split).

What You’ll Bring
